Hello, I am so glad you are exposing these dreadful people. I lost my labrador puppy last week, she was lost by a dog walking firm I employed whilst I was at work. We suspect foul play. She is a Sandringham breed pure pedigree yellow labrador her name is Jemmima she is 1 year old and has not been spayed, she is microchipped. We suspect she has probably been sold on for breeding. If you hear of anything at all, I know its a long shot please e-mail me back. The company I used is called Safe as Houses Pet Sitting Services in Woodhall Spa Lincolnshire the owner is Mrs Diane Conway. |

Bought a chocolate lab bits she was 10 weeks old. 4 days later she started foaming at the mouth vomiting diarrhea with lots and lots off blood. She was admitted to the vets 4 days after coming to me, she had and operation which showed nothing wrong with her and blood tests which again showed nothing, she did not have worms. Then she got worse and was suffering so i decided to tell the vet to end it all. In total she had only been with us for 5 days and had to be put to sleep. When I phoned the breeder they wern't intrested at all. Samples from my pup have been sent to a lab for a post mortam. All i can say about this couple that sold the pup is they are very friendly at first but when a problem arises they dont want to know at all. They sell all sorts of breeds of dog - poodles, labs, boxers ect and they are allways advertising in a paper called the adtrader. My advice is dont touch them at all. |

Since the puppy has died my stud dog has ended up with it, so have my 2 breeding bitches as well. Luckley if caught early it is curable and my stud dog and 2 bitches are now recovering well.
Parvo can remain on a property for up to 12 months and thanks to her i am now having to close my kennels for 12 months and i had just nicely got it all up and running. I am now seeking legal advice to see were I stand with this lady, hopefully i have a case but i have to wait and see. |
