A great site. Well done for all the work you do. I think it's disgusting that Puppy Farmers are still allowed to continue this distressing and horrific trade.

Puppy farming should be banned and if every dog loving owner realised the suffering breeding bitches, stud dogs and puppies endure and what goes on behind the scenes, they wouldn't buy puppies from puppy farms, pet shops, advertisements in local papers, etc.

We are trying to help spread the word. If people didn't buy puppies from such places, there wouldn't be the market for them. Far better people go to a good reputable breeder or to a rescue centre.

Comments:Well done on your work for the cats and dogs of Korea. Although I run my own animal charity for animals abroad ( it is very small). I also campaign weekly by letter about the atrocities to companion animals in Korea and will continue to do so as this barbarism must be eradicted in both Korea and China.

Comments:I think you are doing a wonderful job. People that do that to dogs or any other animals should be jailed for a very long time. I am looking to buy a puppy its took me a month to look for the right one i contacted the kennel club and now i have a contact number for a breeder registered with them i think everyone else should to and stop puppt farms every where.

I Must say as a qualified animal carer I have always been against animal testing and puppy farming I know as a scientist in animal welfare that docotrs and other profesionals who test on animals have other methods of conducting all there tests and pupy farmers are not and will never be needed.

I urge everyone to petition the Scottish Executive to make this a criminal offence but I also urge you not to forget around 12 million puppies and kittens are due to have horrific tests done on them within the next three months in the name of society please help improve animals welfare!!!!!!

Comments:I am absolutely appalled by the attitude of local government on issues such as these. Maybe the Tax man might take more interest, or even the animal rights activists, who I would support to the hilt in their dealing with these evil men and women. Maybe if these activists paid visits to people like these puppy farmers, instead of people dedicated to finding the cause of disease, and its eradication, the public might sympathise a whole lot more.
Good luck in your crusade, I will people know of your cause and site.

Great site.

You're conducting a noble campaign against not only these disgusting puppy farms, but also against our lazy and complacent elected officials who permit these establishments to operate.

I remember seeing these puppy farms exposed on the old BBC "THAT'S LIFE" televison programme with Esther Rantzen, this was almost 30 years ago. It's hard to believe that we still haven't legislated against these puppy farms after all these years. I think the public has to be educated and enlightened. These farms make their money from us,the public. Boycott them, and boycott the newspapers who publish their advertisments, and also boycott any pet shops that sell puppies. The same goes for the P & O shipping line who carry this puppy cargo. Starve them all out, then maybe this barbaric trade will die out.

Hello to all of you that are trying to have puppy farms closed down, well done. I am an Companion Animal Behavourist, operating in the West of Scotland. I noticed that most of the comments from people concerned the health problems asscociated with "puppy farm" dogs. Most "puppy farm" dogs have severe behavioural problems, these may be organic/genetic or arsie as a result of the severe trauma that the pups have undergone at an early age.

Yes, with professional help some of their problems may be treated or at least managed. However a significant number of these pups end up dead as a consequence of their behvioural problems. Last week I aggreed with an attending Vet that one such dog should be put to sleep. This wee soul was traumatised, and as a result extremely aggressive. The owners were devastated. They cried, I cried, the Vet cried.....

Meanwhile the woman that delivered their new puppy to their house 9 short months ago continues to sell pups. A new owner arrived with one from the same woman, at my Training Classes last night and noticed that her own Cavalier looked very different to mine!

I would be very interested to hear from other owners their accounts of their "puppy farmed" dogs behavioural problems.
